I think we can all agree that ol Paul was The Man. But after Mr Brown, who do you believe was the greatest Browns coach ever? Nobody since 1999 qualifies, so I am not even putting them in the poll.

Question:
Who is the greatest Browns coach of all time (besides Paul Brown)?

Choices:
Blanton Collier
Nick Skorich
Forrest Gregg
Sam Rutigliano
Marty Schottenheimer
Bill Belichick

I had to vote for Belichick because the sucess he had after modell robbed the team.

If the team wasnt moving and if he stayed HC we would be the ones with those Superbowl Rings.

Blanton "there are no secrets in football - only execution" Collier
1964 Won NFL Championship over the Colts
1965 Lost NFL Championship Game to the Packers
(Last NFL Championship before the Super
Bowl)
1968 Lost NFL Championship Game to the Colts
(Colts Lost to the Jets in the Super Bowl)
1969 Lost NFL Championship Game to the Vikings
(Vikings Lost to the Chiefs in the Super
Bowl)
His Browns teams of the 60's were great even without Jim Brown. Clearly if anyone had designs on the championship they had to beat his Cleveland teams. Unfortunately three out of four times they did. Only Marty's teams were close to those of Collier's. Ratigliano could not beat Pittsburgh and only once (full season) made the playoffs. The most underrated coach in our history was Nick Skorich. With the talent dwindling, he had his teams in the playoffs twice.

Collier understood team football.

Any questions?

Marty had five seasons - the question is Browns coach. His worst legacy is that he couldn't win the big one - something prevented that.

I voted for Marty... wish they would've called him for the HC job instead of Mangini... we would be going to the playoffs or at least have winning records with Old Marty...Oh well, GO BROWNS!

Yea, no doubt.

What you have to deal with in these "best of the Cleve Browns" is many weren't alive "Way Back When".

MNFs Don Meredith on Fair Hooker: "I never met one".

"Badges"? "Badges"? "We don't have to show you any stinking badges".

Bud Carson was really one of the better coaches we've had (looked at objectively).
