There have been a lot of misses in the Draft since 99, which was the worst?

Question:
What draft pick do you wish the Browns would have made?

Choices:
Tomlinson
Peterson
Malaluga sp? I know it's wrong!
McNabb
Brees
Seymour
Portis
Arrington
McGehee
Sean Alexander
Mathews
Roethlisberger
Sanchez
Others list below

For one I am not sure this poll will stick, but I'll play.

I don't like the questions. I think it is relative to where and who we picked.

I chose Drew Brees.... I pimped the guy HARD coming out of Purdue, but no one listened.

I wanted us to trade down in '99.

Who we drafted with our first pick would have depended on how far back we would have moved.

If it was with N.O. as they wanted Ricky Williams, I would have probably gone with whatever QB was available... maybe Couch would have fallen. Maybe it would have been Culpepper. Maybe it would have been McNown.

But most importantly would have been the additional draft picks. I hated the Rahim Abdullah pick in round 2. O-Line would have been picked up in the 2nd. And if we had 2 third round picks that year we could have made more of an impact going with more O or D line help.

But in the 2000 draft... If we had our pick plus the pick the from New Orleans, I would have gone with Arrington as I thought he was going to be a beast in the NFL, and I wanted a solid running game and Jamal Lewis was a stud. WAS.

But that's all what might have been :/

All we can do now is think about who the #1 overall pick of the 2010 draft is going to be for our beloved Browns *sigh*

easy to say now but Brees would be sweet- heck anyone but freaking Cortney Brown- sheesh, doesn't it seem like 95% of Penn State players are either habitually injured or a bust? (could be that I despise PSU) but seriously

Proud Browns fan since 1994.

It was easy for me to say when he was drafted. I remember telling anyone who would listen tthe guy was worth it in the 3rd round, alas he went in the 2nd I think.

Im not sure about what we could of had but I tell ya what we need is a damn running back. Big strong and physical. J Lewis is that guy but 5 years ago. Seriously at this point here drafting O-line is great but we need a big time back for when that O-line goes down like it just did.
