I'd love to see Kevin Kasper turn into Wes Welker...

Voted Hubbard. If he can develop quickly...perfect JJ replacement.

Kevin Kasper cracks me up in the interview I saw of him on the homepage. He reminds of a that more mature character in a boy band. lol.

Not really sure I care who that guy is that takes the third WR role ... as long as he kicks ass. I guess I would prefer it to be a younger guy who has more tread on his tires, so he could grow with the team.

Kasper I just worry about, since he hasn't stuck with his previous teams. Why is that? RAC says it was a "numbers" thing ... but that just means he wasn't at least the 5th best on any given squad. Wonder if in previous stops he was a stud in practice and with people envisioning Wes Welker, and then wilts in games. Don't know, just wondering.

The upside of Kasper is he has experience as a returner if we need one to back up Cribbs.

I was thinking the same thing man. If he does really well I think he should still start even if JJ comes back because even if he does this or next year is his final year. And if you find a sufficient enough receiver thats a lot younger why go back?

I chose other. I trust that the coaching staff will find the most suitable guy for that role. But believe me, we are going to miss JJ. After watching several games again the last couple of days, it reiterated just how important that JJ was to this offense.

Oh.........and here is a message for Couch. Pull an Eli Manning and demand a trade to the Steelers. That way you could ruin their franchise.

I want it to be Travis Wilson so we know we didn't completely waste a first day pick.

That was Phil's first draft, so I'd let it slide. Plus all your picks can't be winners...even if one of them is a first day pick. Also man what/who is that in your avater? He kinda creeps me out a little lol.

My bad I forgot we used the 05 3rd on Fryeman. Either way you can hit gold on all of them.

I put Wilson, but I need to clarify.

I want him to EARN the 3rd receiver spot, not to just be the best of the worst. He has more potential than the other guys, so if he plays up to it, he will be a great WR3.

I dont know who will win the 3 spot but I will really hate to see Hubbard cut or sent to the practice squad. Some other team will pick him up immediately. Guaranteed. This kid could really be something in years to come. He has all the physical tools and when he learns the game better, and develops good route running skills, and better hands, he is going to be a beast. I would hate to see him go, but right now he is undeveloped and may not be a productive player this season, but I would hate to see him go.

Don't you think that Kellen Winslow is our third receiver? I know he is listed as a tight end, but he is usually in there in the 3,4, and 5 wide sets.

They need to us KW2 in the slot more often than not. This will extend his carreer also i dont think anyone can cover him imagine an empty back field with Edwards, Stalworth, Steptoe, Cribs and KW2. Cribs and Steptoe burners on the outside edwards and stalworth cross routs and kw2 about 10 yards pot and across the middle who could defend that? it wouldent matter how bad our secondary sucks we would score 50+ a game
