Why was this thread deleted.

It was one long complaint and completely irrelevant to any Pure Football discussion. You can rant in the game day forum.

It wasn't intended as a rant and didn't belong in the Game Day forum because it had nothing to do with any particualr game. Rather than complain about the ownership, the management, the coach, or the quarterback situation, which constitutes about 90% of the posts on this board, the point was to show just how far the Browns are from being a contender, talent-wise. As a 40-year Browns fan, I can think of no subject more relevant to this team. I listed the defensive starters from '86 to make the point.

That could have gone into "Randy Lerner must go".

I guess it could have, except that's not how I feel. I was simply trying to show that the new coaching regime can;t be expected to turn things around without a serious talent upgrade. I'll find another board to post on. I'm beginning to beleive this team can't do anyting right.

There are a large number of posters on this board. If everyone decided their individual rant needed a seperate thread, can you imagine what the board would look like? It would look like a lot of message boards out there where everyone makes a thread and no real discussion ensues due to all the clutter. If that is the type of board you prefer, there are a great number of them out there
