Does anyone listen to what this guy says? Look past the smile and the smooth delivery and actually listen to the words coming out of his mouth?
As you view this YouTube video that took place on July 2 in Colorado Springs, look at the people sitting there behind him clapping for what he is saying. But do they realize what they are clapping for or are they just enamored with the presence of a good speaker in an expensive suit without taking into account the "substance" of his actual words? First of all I would like someone to explain to me just exactly what it is he is talking about because I don't have a clue-----a CIVILIAN NATIONAL SECURITY FORCE? His words...... "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well -funded." I thought these Democrats didn't want to spend all this money on the military and now he wants to double the $450 billion military budget of 2007 by creating a "civilian force"? There's a half million troops just in the Army alone. How could you possibly fund this and WHY? Someone tell me there's justification in the Constitution for such a thing because I've never run across it. This sounds very much like a police state. Am I missing something? Please fill me in Mr. Obama because I haven't heard anything in your presidental debates about it and I believe people should know now before the elections rather than later if you get in and try to create something like this. Eyembrown, that is disconcerting. However, I would like to hear what was said before that and what was said after that because without hearing those parts it seems like it could be taken out of context. Sort of like when a person uses a verse of the Bible to make a point, but when you read the verses surrounding their verse it has a completely different meaning. If the rest of it doesn't clarify it better than that could be very disconcerting and I am not sure what he would mean by a civilian national security force. |

The devil can come as an angel of light in order to suck people into his lies and deceits. Someday that is exactly what the antichrist will do. He'll come witha big smile and lots of promises of peace. Then eventually he will turn against all those whom he deceived and will have all of them either follow him or be executed. I don't know if Obama is the antichrist but he sure uses the antichrist's tricks and deceit. Like we should murder the unborn and let women have theirn rights. Who cares if he is deceiving them. He says what most people want o hear.

fishtheice - Thanks. I mention abortion on this thread because America doesn't need more of it and leaders like Obama/Biden who support and promote such filth,lies and destruction to human life. Our nation is already suffering and paying the price for electing such ungodly politicians.

I'm just trying to get people to see that if continue to promote and vote for politicians as Obama/Biden we will continue to God's wrath and judgement to our wonderful nation. God is loving, forgiving and so forth. But God is also holy and will call all of us someday to account for how we have used what He has blessed us with.

If God is so loving, kind and peace loving why do we have war, death, and famine? I believe in God and I consider myself a Christian, however I am not foolish enough to believe that God is all loving and kind. By the way God gave us free will so that we could decide for ourselves what we should do, what we should consider right from wrong. Who are we to decide what others should believe or what others think is right or wrong? |

Do you really think Obama/Biden is right to murder the defenseless unborn? If you have no guilt then politicians like Obama/Biden will successfully continue to lead you to your own destruction for making the decision to vote and promote them. There are godly politicians but you choose to believe the lies of the media and entertainers instead of the truth of a loving,foriving and caring God.

If you think Obama/Biden are so bad then don't vote for them, but if you think that McCain/Palin are the great Christians you think and that they will run the country with more morality than Obama/Biden you are fooling yourself. I don't think either set of candidates will be as moral as we may be made to believe. The difference between me and you is that I realize that Christians are the biggest hypocrites that ever walked the face of the planet. More wars have been fought, more innocent souls slaughtered, more lies told in the name of God will then by anyone or anything in human history. |

God sent Jesus Christ to suffer,die and be resurrected for our sins so we dont have to bear them. But we would rather call believers names and accuse them of being crazy. I don't think Obama/Biden have the right to do anything but run the country in the best interest of all of its citizens if they are elected. It isn't McCain/Palin's right to decide what a woman should do if she gets pregnant. McCain/Palin are no more righteous people than Obama/Biden it's just that you agree with their view on abortion. By the way I don't need Obama/Biden, McCain/Palin to lead me to destruction and I don't need you to decide that I'm on the path to destruction. When I go before God to be judged I no where I will stand. Do you? AND THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A GODLY POLITICIAN. I don't need a sermon preacher. I know as much or more about God's word than you do. What would he think of you for judging people. Tisk Tisk. Of course war, death, homosexuality, lesbianism, alcoholism, drug abuse, abortion, etc... are God's fault. He gave use free will, by default that makes it his fault. When something happens on board a ship, be it a death, something blows up, or something else the cause may be that someone on the crew used their free will to make a decision and the decision was wrong and tragedy struck, but it is the Captain that is ultimately at fault. I don't know if you are referring to me, but I don't recall calling you a name nor did I accuse you of being crazy. God has no perfect and holy plan for our lives because if he did that would alleviate our free will. |
