Has anyone read "The Shock Doctrine" by Naomi Klein? Even if only have of what she's written is true it is a huge eye opener on how the world works...and how the US Government and a handful of economists altered foreign governments for the benefit of large corporations. It's literally the "shock and awe" of economics.

In the end it speaks to the outsourcing of jobs that have helped put America in this mess...at the expense of many for the profit of only a few.

I'm sorry to say that I will be waiting for the DVD too. Problem was, the movie started at 7:30, and it's 2 hours 45 minutes long, would have had to go straight from work. I do want to see it though, so I will be watching for the DVD to be released.

As for Shock Doctrine, I have the audio book in mp3 format if anybody is interested. It's one of those books that forces to you to think "outside the box". What she has to say is so alarming that your first thought is "impossible!" but her stuff is well researched and documented.
