I was just curious if anyone else has been watching the mini series Generation Kill on HBO. I've been watching it every week and I gotta say it's pretty good, it's only 7 episodes long and the finale is coming up this Sunday...

I'm just curious I've never been in the military let alone the Marines, but for any of you that are in the military I was wondering if HBO was giving America a fairly close portrayal of what was going on over there or if they are way off base with what they're portraying, I'd appreciate any kind of feedback thanks guys....

I usually miss it when it comes on Sunday nights, but I end up catching the repeats.

I really like it, but I find it more comical than anything else, which isn't a bad thing. I think it's good to have a different take of the war. The jokes are really funny and I find myself laughing at something every 10 minutes.

I was hoping for more action, though.

Typical HBO (Help Barak Obama) garbage. To date they've shown the Marines killing kids, questioning the leadership which is just typical leftwing garbage. A marine officer jumping up and down yelling Touchdown or whatever. Total joke.

I think it's an awesome show. I am a former Army medic and I think it is completely accurate. "Captain America" is classic, there are so many officers like that.

The finale was amazing. I loved the ending with Johnny Cash's "When The Man Comes Around" playing. They did steal that from The Sarah Connor Chronicles, though. Wink
