Its been a long time since I've seen an "alien" flick that gave me the creeps or even seemed interesting. Haven't seen District 9 yet, but have heard its pretty good. The Fourth Kind does look good though, but I'll probably wait and Netflix it.

I watched the preview for this movie two nights ago and had trouble getting to bed.

I've always been a sucker for alien movies too.

District 9 was a great movie, but not scary at all, it gives you a totally different perspective of aliens.

As for the fourth kind, I hope there's actual aliens in it. If its just like re-enacted footage of people going crazy it will be dumb.

But I'll still be terrified at night hoping i don't see The White Owl In The Window.

I never was a big fan of Alien type movies but this looks decent. The alien movie that scared the crap out of me is called Fire in the Sky. It is based on a true story and i dont know why it scared me but it did. The Thing is also very creepy i think because of the atmosphere and the music John Carpenter has in it

Saw this last night and thought it was pretty lame, just my humble opinion. Basically just a story about missing people in Alaska with 3 or 4 "real footage" videos.

I recommend waiting until it is on Netflix or whatever.
