Yeah yeah, Steeler, Raven, and Bengal fans can crack jokes about our past two performances, but looking around the division, I don't see their first teams doing anything spectacular either. As a matter of fact, Pittsburgh's O-line looks terrible in pass protection, Mendenhall has been criticized for his style of running, and their running game as a whole hasn't looked impressive. As for the Ravens, I haven't seen much of them but I do keep track of their training camp and preseason reports and in a nutshell, they look like crap, too. Cincy, ha, both them and Cleveland actually look like clones of one another right now. Both teams have high powered offenses, but they've looked like crap so far. Oh, and we can't forget that they both run the "no tackle" defense.

Anyway, as a Browns fan I can be unbiased and admit my team looks like crap. Granted, it's only preseason, but the rest of you fans can't say anything different about your teams. Laugh all you want, but you're doing nothing to stand out either.

This division looks as weak as the NFC West right now.

The steelers o-line isn’t the best but they are doing a lot more than what was expected of them and the defense looked really impressive last night. I haven’t really followed the bengals with all the distraction their team has had since early in the off-season and the ravens are the ravens but they look like they may have an okay running game and down to the browns with all of the media hype for all the work that big Romeo has put into this team last year and in the off-season with the trades and so so, there is a lot expected from the fans and others for this team to do well, I myself have said a few times before the preseason that the browns will be a team to watch out for but from what I have seen leaves me with no worries as of right now

All in All- the whole AFC north may look crappy but the STEELERS are the only ones looking like they can leave the rest of the division behind and pull off another championship

Naw man, the Steelers starting O-line only bought Ben good pass protection one time last night and it took them deep into the 2nd quarter to do it. Your team hasn't done anything to pull itself away from the AFC North. I'd say that your defense looks pretty good, but guess what? It looks nothing like it has in recent years.

Honestly, the winnder of this division could be 8 - 8, forget 9 - 7 or 10 - 6.

I dont think vambo likes me for some reason

but anyways, i never buy that "toughest schedule" stuff and ill call out the teams our division plays like colts, jags, skins, titans, cowboys and the SBC giants (even though they gave the browns a tough game) would be anywhere tough as some would think so there for i think it will take a lot more than 8-8 even 9-7 to win this division, i say more like 10 wins and up

and since this is the smack shack i will continue this with saying the browns suck

It is pretty amazing that the AFC North has the toughest line-up in front of them and they are all practicing like they are about to play a season against Ohio University and Kent State.

What is wrong with this division right now?

I live in Fort Collins, CO and I have to defend the Browns and the AFC North against these idiotic Donkey fans and AFC West High and Mighty 's.

It is tough this preseason.

Please tell us what drugs you are on? Did you watch the same Stoolers game I watched last night?

The only reason the Stoolers 1st D looked good was because the Vikings were playing their 2nd string QB and comitted a million penalties.

As far as the offense goes, I personally feel Rot'booger will be sacked more times than any QB in the history of the NFL. Mendenhall had 4 yds rushing in the first half and 'booger was sacked twice.

I think what you guys have to realize is: its preseason. I know the Browns have looked awful. I'm not too worried yet, I'm not as comfortable as I was a few weeks ago, but I not freaking out either.

I don't think the players are giving 100% and I don't think the play calling is that great. The coaches don't want to show what they have instore for the season.

The only teams who look good so far in Pre-season are the teams that were awful last year and they are trying to figure out what works. Look at Miami.

Look at Lewis 4 fumbles last year 37 total for his career.

Wonder if head ball coach is making him walk around with a football ducked taped to his hand and arm.

You mean the division with 2 teams rebuilding (Cheifs and Raiders) and a team that's a perrenial dissapointment (Broncos) are making fun of US??? seems to me like they're competing with the NFC west for the weakest division in the NFL...

I would include the AFC east in that competition, but with the Pats controling that division its hard to see how the other teams measure up.

UMMM- It's DUCT tape- I am pretty sure it would be a little hard to hold a football with an actual duck taped under his arm....
but hey- you live in Cleveland, so you might be used to all sorts of animals taped to your body.....
