That doesn't really surpise me to hear that Max...but Cleveland isn't the only place that stuff is happening in.

if every citizen spent one night in an innercity precinct seeing what police officer's have to deal with every day this world would instantly be a better place to live

Oh I know what they go through everyday and I for one don't think I could do it...but if you ask the everyday cop..most will tell you that he loves what he does..a lot of them are second and third generation cops. I know they can't be in it for the money alone.

The more lay offs that come to the Police departments...the less that is standing between us and the bad guys..you know?...we need them..and they need to treat them with the respect for the job they do everyday.

Just wear a browns jersey, you'll laugh 'em silly.

That being said...do you kind of laugh to yourself a little when you see someone in browns gear? I know I do. It's so sad that fans of such a once a proud franchise could wear their colors anywhere with pride. Now anytime someone sees the orange and poop it produces a giggle. Sad. So sad....

..but not really. Big Grin

What I find even more laughable is someone with a Steelers jersey on with "BanWagon Fan" where the name plate is on the back of it. I bet you can see a lot of those...or do they advertise?..but then again they don't have to..Us real fans know they are out there by the thousands.

Sounds like your jealous. The Steelers have the largest fanbase because Pittsburgh is football country, and we love our football.
As bad as the browns are, they also have a huge number of fans, and I would venture to guess they are a close second to Pitt in numbers, so does that mean they're bandwagon also? Of course not.
Both Pa. and Ohio are considered the birthplace and the heart of pro football, and we love our respective teams more than any other fanbase in the country love theirs..so grow up and get off that childish "bandwagon" mumbo jumbo.

Good Lord!
What you're describing are "closet Steeler" or "closet brown fans" not bandwagon you silly!

A closet fan is one who is true to his team, but stays in the closet until his team does well, then comes out and makes himself known by thumping his chest. There are plenty of closet brown fans right now because their team sucks bad.

A bandwagon fan is worse in that closet fans are at least true to their team.
A bandwagon fan leaves his team and jumps on the bandwagon of a team on the rise or doing well.
I am neither. Back in the late 80's there was a period when your clowns actually owned the Steelers. One Sunday, depressed after a Steeler loss to the Clowns, I decided to go to the mall with my Steelers gear on, and some dude came up to me in jest with a lighter pretending to burn my jersey. That was funny.

And you "if I can read" comment was clever, being I just replied to you.

I never said you was..I said half of the bunch of the so called Steelers fans are..But neither am I. I've been a Browns fan for around 40 years now...and I have no intentions of changing it.
