sounds feasible eo, but vers is right..even Mich. people were ranting about how he catches the tough ones but has a propensity for dropping the easy ones.

Well then possibly it has nothing to do with the injury. Or possibly he has had a tendency in the past to run a little flat footed...possibly he is running more flat footed exccelerating the bounce more than usual because of the injuries.

After thinking about this I saw a Replay of the Colt Pats game...just a bit of it at least as I was channel surfing during commercials.

It was at the Gaffney drop and they did a Slo-mo replay. I noticed Gaffney was running sure enough a little flat footed down that sideline prior to the arrival of the ball.

JMHO

We've Built the Foundation.
Will they come?
Looks like we are leaning towards Formula Two: Mangini/Kokinis

Eotab, your flat footed compared to running on the balls of your feet scenario is a very impressive point! It's been 20 plus years since I played. I had this problem too and much worse. My eyes started to water when I turned on the speed. Coaches had no answer except to make me the QB Big Grin Wink

Of course, you probably knew most of that, but was intentionally launching a personal attack. Did you know that was against the rules of the board?

Furthermore, you are wrong. People have said all types of derogatory things about DA. However, DA's teammates really like him.

The same can not be said of Leon. He has told his teammates to F......off. He told the same to coaches. He has been late for numerous meetings and practices. He bashed a teammate in the press because he didn't want to get hit. He has shown zero accountability since he has been in college. He was benched for it in college by Carr. He has infuriated teammates and I know of one who had to be restrained from beating the living daylights out of him.

Leon is a jerk. DA is not.

Who's Leon?????

What number do you wear for the Browns since you have all this information???????

Makes sense, this guy that says even Mich. people say he drops the easy ones and catches the tough ones - ridiculous comment........

All WR's DROP BALLS, you guys ever notice how the league leaders in drops are always stud receivers? Maybe just maybe b/c they get the ball thrown their way more often than anyone else.......Drops happen, BE is having a rough stretch right now he'll be alright

not a rediculous comment...very common comment back when we drafted him...I think there's something to the flat-footed thing...BE is on pace to 'drop' almost ten more balls this year than have ever been 'dropped' by any receiver, ever....on the other hand, there's a range of definitions of 'dropped pass'....would the flat-footed running affect a 5 to 8 yard slant ??..I guess if you're running ..you're running, right??...Have had my share of knee and ankle problems, never toe-ball-foot stuff...

I posted B.E.'s college scouting report on another thread that verifies his drops. That was not a ridiculous statement.

The excuses being made for Edwards are absolutely unbelievable.

Plain and simple, he has been absolutely HORRIBLE this year. Period.

His drops have been at crucial times, on huge plays, and are as responsible for this offense as anything else.

You can blame the QB all you want, but when, as happened on Sunday, your "star" WR refuses to catch critical balls, you're screwed.

He's a primma donna, plain and simple.

And for all the people that say other WR's drop balls - yes, they do, but not to the degree Braylon has.
