Well, it was, and five of those six are simply because of the staph. He is a great guy, as we all know, and I can only imagine how these past 10 months have been for him.

I got a chance to watch Joe J's interview today ... he was just fighting back his emotion, man that's tough. We really needed Joe around this year.

Get well Joe, your absense this year has been noticed by all. The 3-5 record shows it. I am sure you wouldnt drop those crutial 3rd down passes. Those are a killer and a game changer.

See you next year #84.

Jst repeating the sentiment that seems to be the main thread of this post.Cannot wait to see #84 back on the team and making those catches others seem to drop. Good luck to ya Joe. Having had numerous knee surgeies myself I can relate. Just remember that the fans love you as much as you love this team and want to see that picture of you and your daughters, just not yet or any time soon.

I think JJ is returning next year to have a chance at one more superbowl. That would be ending your career on your terms. Hopefully that will happen

Did anyone else notice that he had something done in Las Vegas to his knee, it is possible that the staff infection didn't even occur in the state of Ohio
