Finally we have a defense that quite possilbly is a lot better than we give credit for. Only when your Qb can't complete a simple dump pass to Jamal. 3 n out, 3 n out. The inconsistency has become a little to redundant! For crap sake, he should be able to make those passes w/ his eyes close... LET THE QUINN ERA BEGIN!!!!!

I think I agree with the money theory. He probably had to convince lerner to fork up the cash for DA with the promise BQ would not get a chance to meet his incentives this year. Now we are stuck with DA because we are paying Quinn the leaugue minimum for a 2nd year player, and are unwilling to pay his incentives. Remember what Savage gave up for Quinn!!! Alot of draft picks my friends. AND, the cheifs offered two, yes two, first round picks for him. That tells me Savage KNOWS BQ is the future of the Browns.
So if BQ is savage's man, why not play him. It must be the money. And while he is playing, Savage can only hope we get some trade value out of him. Personally, I would have taken the draft picks from the cheifs. We would probably be picking like #1 and #3 this draft. Or traded down one of them for even more picks. And DA is back!
I was hoping he was back, but I then realized that he is actually back. Back to being below average. DA: - When pressured he falls apart - He played good against Giants because he had time to throw (any QB can do that). - Look a the game again, how many times where the ball batted down because he was just looking at the same Receiver. Ver few were because he was being pressured. - Doesn't know how to put "touch" on the ball - Can't move in the pocket or know how to step up in the pockets - Is off target...people were complaining about how ESPN comm. were bashing the Browns, but ABC was doing the same thing, talking about the throws were bad. I wish DA would play good, I don't try to wish bad things on anyone. If you play bad, you get called to the carpet, that's life. About the drop balls, every team has them. BE dropped 3 last night, but add all 5 drops up for catches, his average is still no good. ------------------------------ Playoffs, are you talking playoffs? |

The "money theory" got some large holes in it. After readin the Terry Pluto article I come to the conclusion "MONEY" ain't th reason fer Crennel's incalcitrance t' see the light... Quotin' afrom the article (where "They" means us'n posters): They mention Quinn's salary of $395,000 - .... They say Quinn's salary will increase to about $1.7 million if he takes about 50 percent of the snaps this season as the reason he remains on the bench. Yes, those details are accurate, but they ignore a bigger truth. The Browns paid Quinn about $1.1 million in a signing bonus and salary when they drafted him in 2008. Here's the real key point: The Browns wrote Quinn a check for $4.2 million in March as a roster bonus, meaning he's making about $4.6 million this season. So Quinn will be paid more than $5.5 million in his two years with the Browns - even if he doesn't take a snap this season. So's the Browns is payin' Quinn FIVE PLUS MILLIONS t' sit quietly an' watch the Horror Shows Anderson writes, directs, an' stars in ever' Sunday. At this point, I got me ZERO idear why Anderson gets to start.
As fer this Hairdog... out'n all the possible reasons for why Anderson gets the nod over Quinn... the only reason that ain't been shot full of holes yet is this one: Crennel is flat ignert. JMIgnertO |

DA is the blame for bad passes, but BE doesn't catch well and he leads the league in dropped passes. DA, and I've been a supporter of him long enough, needs to sit down and watch how a qb,even a high school qb hit a running back out of the backfield. He did not have pressure, he did have time to throw, and laughing when you throw a stupid pass is RAC's fault. He should have pulled him, told him to sit his laughing ass down on the bench and think about what he is throwing away.

DA isn't goind to get us past mid level. Don"t say Quinn will eitherbut lets give him a chance. One good game in sux is poor. When us Romeo and the rest of the coaching staff going to realize this. I am getting tired of hearing BA gives us the best chance of winning. Maybe it's time to see if we have anyone else who can run a route and catch the ball. It's obvious Edwards can't do it consistantly.
