Agreed. With the exception of last week's win, this team is falling apart at the seams from top to bottom...

here is the link.

After reading the article, there seems to be serious animosity between Winslow and upper mgmt. I hope this doesn't boil into something bigger that will effect the whole team.

Wow. Isnt this the second time a player criticized Phil Savage for not calling them while in the hospital? First was LeCharles I believe.

yeah, i can't say that I blame Winslow for not getting respect and consideration for getting the infection in Browns facilities. It's messed up that people were making rumors about his you know whats, but lets just get this straight.... if Phil didn't call him, THAT IS MESSED UP!!!!

contract negotiations OR NOT.... that is the way it is... he is the GM of the Cleveland Browns, and should be making that call!

uh oh.

Losing breeds turmoil Frowner

And as for KW2. I can see why he's upset, but talk to the FO about it, talking to the press about these things can result in nothing good.

It sounds to me like he is being a tad over-sensitive. In all, it ended up being a rather minor injury with a quick recovery. Besides, phones work both ways. He could always call Savage if wanted to.

yeah, that makes sense. He'll just pick up the phone and call Phil to say hi?... to talk about what?? his injury??

NOTHING... there is nothing to say except bad stuff b/c Kellen got the infection from the Browns facility, and when the MEDIA started rumors about K2's groin area, the Browns just threw K2 under the bus by NOT saying ANYTHING about K2. Think about that..
What is KELLEN supposed to say to Phil?? It's PHIL'S job to call Kellen to say he hopes he gets better fast, and to see if there is anything he can do for Kellen. It's a business after all. The browns should just hire me, and I'll teach these people about respect.

For Lord Sakes Phil,

Call Winslow up and apologize, Say what ever you need to say in order to make him happy before he asks for a trade.

Mad

How could Kellen get a staph infection. The only way I can think of is receiving shots for his knee. He hasn't had surgery.

Maybe it isn't a coincidence that the Browns played their best game of the year without Winslow.

Inmature, Inmature boy. I just read this comment after the article, and agree 100%:

Upper management has treated K2 like a king...paying him for his motorcycle accident and extending his contract when he did nothing to deserve it.

Is this guy is a cancer?

When my wife was sick my direct sup and his sup came to visit, sent flowers and best wishes and so on. The CEO didn't come by, nor did I expect him to.

Get over yourself K2.

I honestly dont know what to make of this situation. I will say that if it is the case, and players start feeling as if they arent cared for i would be worried.

I dont know what kellen does in the locker room, but i know from watching that the man has played injured and leaves it all on the field. I remember the seattle game last year where they damn near had to drag his carcass off the field after the game.

If im a coach and you give 53 winslows, josh cribbs, and jamal lewis' ill bring you a super bowl ring.

Staph infection??? He said he didn't lose any weight, he was in the hospital for 3 days. I'm not doubting him, but would't that be a quick recovery???? Where did he get the staph/ how?

I just read this article and I have to ask myself: "He's mad why"?

He's mad Phil Savage didn't call him? Huh? Who cares. What a cry baby.

Start Heiden next week. We don't have time for this piffle.

My question is why do our players keep getting staph? Can't they wipe down the tables or something? Jeez.

Really you don't see where he's coming from? Heck I only have like 5 people under me but any time one of them is out sick or has any sort of personal issue to deal with I always make it a point to call or at least text them to see if they are ok. I would be deeply hurt if I was in the hospital, keeping my mouth shut to be a team player, and the boss man didn't even call me.

yeah, I agree, K2 has the right to be pissed IF the Browns GM, top manager, didn't call him to say what's up? get well soon. sorry to hear. ..... somethin'... contract negotiations or NOT! this is bad for the Browns image in the league for drawing good players. I can't tell if K2 is being a baby, but I think not, I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt but he looks banged up this year.

Also, when the Browns didn't NULLIFY the media rumors about K2's privates, that really made him mad b/c the Browns were part of the cause of his illness, and they made him look like a guy in the hospital for an STD or something silly. It's ridiculous, but that is what K2 is thinking.... they threw him UNDER THE BUS...

and I'm not talkin' about Jerome Bettis this time. Hate 'em.

Please.............check yourself before you wreck yourself. Winslow is nowhere our problem, he gives it every night. I would think Savage would want to know how his star player is doing anyway.
