I think it's fair to say that at 3-6 the season is over. And with the easiest teams left on the schedule being Houston and Cinci, I think 7-9 might be a stretch. So at the end of the season, When the Browns are looking at ANOTHER top 10 pick, Who is left to make it. Is Romeo Gone, Does savage go with him, Is Tucker the right guy to be running a D, Has Chud been doing enough with the O, Does Lerner Finally step in and say Get what we need to win? I can honestly say if Romeo gets fired and Savage stays...Well he likes bringing in his Raven's connections...and What raven ex-coach is waiting for a job offer?? After the past 2 games it's fairly obvious to say the Coaching is killing us with mismanagement of the clock and ZERO halftime adjustments. I beleive the numbers in the 4th quarter for the last 2 games are the Browns being outscored 30+ to 7. What's your honest opinion of the post season situation.

-------------
Maybe Cris Wells will do us a favor and stay at OSU one more year, Then nobody can say we should draft him.

I think it's obvious we need some change. I don't think changing GM's would be wise, because then you're talking a complete overturn of the roster. We don't need that. Let Romeo finish out the year, then evaluate where the team stands. Making a knee jerk reaction in week 10 isn't gonna fix anything.

Thus my question of "Whats your honest opinion of the POST SEASON situation?"

Honestly, I believe Savage has done an incredible job looking at where our roster is now from when he started. That being said, if we don't go after Deangelo Hall to shore up our DB's something is wrong. Terry Cousins has to go along with Romeo's vanilla game plans.

I'm sorry but when you have over a minute left to go in the game, why do you call passing plays on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th downs when you only need a run? Any idiot that's ever played Madden could call a better game plan. Some might put that blame on Chud, but I personally believe Romeo is hand cuffing him.

Also, I understand that when Stallworth is healthy, he is undoubtedly the #2. However, when he's not there, or when we spread the field, why do we not move Winslow in the slot and make Heiden the true tight end? Syndric Steptoe should only see the field if Joshua Cribbs is dead.

Opie's future is probably tied to the QB play. He blew it by giving the big contract to DA. He should've just tagged him and if someone wanted to give us some draft picks for him, so be it. Obviously, we could use the draft picks now to rebuild the defense.

Hopefully, we can trade DA for at least a 3rd and get back that pick Opie unwisely gave away for Rucker.

But if BQ works out, then that probably saves Opie's job, because he made the big trade to get him. Now if the marketing gold mine, local boy, can also play football too, then the owner will be very happy.

That's not saying Opie hasn't made his mistakes. He's made plenty.

For RAC, I don't think anything can save him now. The team underperforms and the defense, his specialty, is awful.

After last nights game I wanted to fire Rac and Tucker. I'd wait until after the season with RAC but Tucker needs to go now! We are difinately missing Devon Holly, McDonald played better as the 3rd corner. We don't have the talent at LB to play the 3-4 defense. Tha needs to be addressed also. It's going to be anothe rlong and frustrating season. Bring in Cowher for next year!

I was a big supporter of RAC.
Defense stinks, RAC known for defense "not here"

I WANT TO SEE A SHUTDOWN DEFENSE!!

3-4, 4-3

I DON'T CARE

I hate to say it, the defense was better under Butch Davis

In looking at the game last night alone it is hard to comprehend how what happened - happened.

How can you prepare for a team who has lost it's runners before the game, and their replacemnets during the game - then knowing that they are forced to be one diminsional and give up 400+ yards passing?

It would have been 500 yards plus more points if they would not have dropped passes.

How can a coaching staff and their players defend that?

Romeo came to the Browns as a defensive specialist with great credentials. There is no room left for execuses.

The Patriots play team ball. They don't have a star program. They execute schemes by attention to detail and massive preparation.

Whatever Romeo was exposed to in New England he has not been able to transfer to Cleveland.

A change has to be made. Savage should stay and he should bring in the guy he wants. That partnership of GM and HC has to be a marriage of philosophy, coordination and cooperation.

I don't know who would be on his list but he needs to making inquires now.
