That would be my guess IF we were to sign him.
I bet we hear something tomorrow morning.

That would make for an excellent day.

Now if we bring Law in are we to expect him to be ready to go by week 1? Do we expect him to start? I would welcome the help but it is annoying that it took so long. Was this just a case of Law not wanting to go through training camp (which I can respect ha)

This states that its just a rumor, and I did not see it on Wikipedia. But if this starting to leak out I'm sure we'll know whats up by noon tomorrow.

A week prior to cutting Baxter? He was cut a while ago, that article was FAKE and ANYONE can post something on wikipedia. Hence its removal. Wikipedia isn't 100% credible.

The Baxter comment completely foiled the truth to that at all.

Can't wait for o-eight!

Just say NO. I would rather pursue Anthony Henry now that pac man has been reinstated and dallas is deep at CB. who wants a 1 year band aid?

Jamal was thought to be a band aid last year, especially patching up our droughns experiment. Derek Anderson was thought to be our 6 week qb (after Frye got shipped out) just to take hits and waste time til Quinn was ready

Anthony Henry will probably move to safety.

For what its worth, I read an article on Law before training camp started and it said he looked and was in the best shape of his life. Anyways I will take a 1 or 2 year band aid that will make this team better and give veteran leadership to our young DB's.

The NFL is in the Win now mode, and the Browns have been built to win now so it would make more sense to bring in guy who greatly inproves our DB's to win now not next year.. Let him come in and teach his trickls to our young DB's who know his presence alone could effect these young guys.

He may not be starter quality anymore, but his leadership and ability stands for itself.

You have never heard any of his coaches say he never gave 100% i dont think i have ever heard anything bad about him besides the fact he is getting slower.

They are not going to cut him and take the hit he would make on their salary cap.

I think you are referring to A. Henry, I do not want him back I was replying to the statement

So, what are the chances of this happening? I still would like to have traded for Buffalo's Youboty.

Eh, seeing I live in Buffalo now I get a lot of Bills exposure, unfortunately. But that's a story for another day.

Youboty outside of this preseason has looked absolutely lost on the football field. Oh, that's when he's actually been on it too!

He doesn't seem to be a. physically tough enough or b. mentally tough enough to be a consistent contributor or someone you can count on.

I was somewhat surprised the Bills cut Will James instead, but Youboty's last three games probably saved his NFL career, for now, at least.

truth be told as weak as were looking in our secondary, i think we should add ty law to the roster it be a smart move a little more depth, and of course som serious play experience, then again im all for picking up rudi johnson as a 3rd down back behind jamal but what do i know?

Refs,

Can you please lock this thread too and direct it to the current CB thread? Just because it would make it a lot easier for me to follow all the DB talk if it all gets consolidated.
