Well, we pulled off the victory in a fashion that has us on everyone's radar now: 46-7 victory to give them their first loss. Now we remain atop the undefeated podium (5-0) in our conference...for now. We have a few tough matchups coming up: it will be interesting. Dawg is on a tear with his range hitting yet another 40+ 4/5 now from that range. Total now for him is 17/24 for FGs in season 2 and 35/40 for PATs this season alone. Our offense is rediculous and the defense has been smothering the line of scrimage. Pup is enjoying the relaxing kicking game he has: he is emergency use only since through 5 games he has a total of just 16 punts. We have 225 points scored and 41 points allowed. |

Congrats!! I'd say that is domination there. Sounds like not too much competition for the conference trophy. Clevelandfreak, you are in my conference so, |

Trout are waiting until the end of the season to boost so we aren't going to go undefeated...
5-1 so far. My last game I had 131.5 yards and a touchdown. Not too bad. I love this game. |

Super Bears Played...SUPER!
Tallahassee, FL - As the season rolls on and the Super Bears (7-0) continue their streak, there is one common theme week in and week out: everyone has a target set on the Super Bears. They continue to win week after week in amazing fashion. This week was no different in Oceania A as they Super Bears pulled off their seventh win of the season. However, nobody expected the type of near perfection the team pulled off tonight. The Super Bears offense managed to put points on the board on every possession except for 1. The defense matched that feat in preventing scores on all but 1 drive by the Inmates. Add the fact that the Super Bears failed to turn the ball over and were +1 in the turnover department. Although the Inmates managed to quiet Rexman to a degree through the air, they had no answer for the smash-mouth running game…allowing 2 backs to break the 100 yard mark: Dayel Elessedil nearly reached the 200 yard mark while Randolf McAnderson just missed the 150 mark. The front line of the offense was solid and unwavering, allowing all the protection in the world: 0 sacks and 0 hurries. The Inmates were able to stall 5 drives, but they forgot about the special teams play of this Super Bears team. Tally Dawg was perfect on the day going 4/4 in the 3-point department and 5/5 on PATs. This was the type of day all kickers dream of, including a 49 1/2 yarder on the opening drive. When it cleared the uprights, it seemed everyone in the stadium knew what kind of a game the Inmates where in for. On the other end of the kicking spectrum, Tally Pup had a quiet day: being called on just once during the game. However, he made that one time count, punching a 38 yard punt! All in all, tonight’s game showed what can happen when a team believes in itself and puts forth 110% each game. A hardy congradulations goes out to not only the players, but the entire front office and coaching staff as they have done an unbelievable job as a team! Las Vegas truly has a team for the ages on its hands. GBL News Game Recap |

Here is the play of the day by yours truely:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=2352677 DaMan DaSchiz III pass to Razor Thorns up the right side [missed tackle: John Roper], PAT made by Eduardo Neves [TD] (80.5 yd gain) and in other News the Cleveland Elves are working their way into the play offs! More to follow! The way I see it, these fans would party on Saturday if Ohio State won the national championship, but the city would burn down if we won the Super Bowl.” Joe Jurivicious |

Week 8 is in the books for Oceania A, and word is spreading now of the Zeta Conference Las Vegas Super Bears. They continue their domination over the entire league. Their streak has reached an amazing 8 wins with an unheard of 109-0 victory! Game Recap
Unfortunately, one foot cannot take that much of a beating, as TallyDawg hit 4/4 again in the FG department (3 more from 40+ including a 48 yarder), but in the PAT department...he missed one, going 14/15 on the day. The question remains if anyone in the league can match the juggernaut this season. |

It was rumored today in USA league circles that the Lima Lemurs (8-0) made a bold move by trying to secure a trade for the legendary TallyDawg.
We caught up with the owner of the Lemurs this afternoon to verify the validity of the rumor... GLB Media: Is it true you tried to trade for Tallydawg this past weekend? The Hawk: Yea...we made a hard push for him. We really wanted his strong leg for our play-off run. To be honest, we really only wanted him because he wears that cool single-bar facemask. GLB Media: Why did the trade fall through? The Hawk: Well, we offered up 3 first round picks and a case of Zima...a pretty stout offer if you ask me. They countered with 3 first round picks and a case of Corona which was a bit too rich for our blood. We can't mortgage the future of the team like that...maybe if they said Milwaukee's Best we could have worked out the deal. It's unfortunate, I really liked that face-mask. |

Mmmm...Corona.
However, I have a no drinking clause in my contract...something about blurred vision not helping my kicks. But in the off season, look out. OLE' ole' ole' o-l-e' |

Las Vegas Kicks Off The Second Half With Win
Tallahassee, FL - Last night, Oceania A had a pluthera of highly anticipated games. Many teams were looking to start the second half of the season on a high note as the league heads into the home stretch and into the playoffs. One of those matchups pit the Aussie Slamers against the Las Vegas Super Bears. All week, leading up to last night's game, the talk around the league was how well the front line of the Aussie's O-line would be able to contain and quiet the defensive unit of the Super Bears. Many were predicting this to be the game where the Super Bears would fall from the ranks of the undefeated. However, that would not be the case. Following their previous 109-0 victory, the Super Bears, in their typical fashion pitched yet another shutout, winning 34-0 and moving the team to an impressive 9-0 record. Leading the way yet again was Randolf McAnderson on the ground with an impressive 226.5 yards on 27 carries and 3 TDs. The air attack was quiet for the Super Bears as they failed to reach the 100 yard mark in passing. But, look for this trend to continue as teams have yet to find a way to stop the Super Bears ground attack. Once again, as teams seem to do game in and game out, the Aussie's failed to game plan for special teams. Tally Pup, pinned the Slamers deep in their end of field time and time again. Including yet another of his famous "Kick'em Stick'ems:" A picture perfect punt early in the game - The Kick'em Stick'em! Tally Dawg had a mediocre day as he went 2/3 from the field. His lone miss came on a 42 yarder that got hung up in the wind. Still, his string of 40+ is impressive as he has still managed to hit 10 of 12 from beyond the 40 yard line. The Defensive unit continues to show the league that they are not to be taken lightly. They held the Aussie's to a total of just 139 yards: 114 through the air and 25 on the ground. If they remain healthy, it will be tough to even get this unit to bend. If you have not watched Las Vegas in action, you are missing a treat, as this team is running on all cylinders. The chemistry on the team is something special: Every member of this team (players, coaches, and even the front office) look out for each other. They have a "no man left behind" mentality. All too often, you hear of teams on runs very similar to the type that the Super Bears are having. But the Super Bears are much different. They remain very humble and have yet to speak out in the press. Each week they take their opponent as a serious matchup. As mentioned before, the Las Vegas Super Bears is a team in the every sense! |

I read on PFT that the Las Vegas Super Bears are currently being investigated for e-Steroid use.

Is that better or worse than taping signals? |

E-Steroids?! Nah...we like to boost with pure silicoids. :-)

Argghhhh! The Lima Lemurs are no longer undefeated
The 9-0 Lemurs lost their 10th game to the 3rd place team, due to a last minute touchdown (16-12). Our kicker missed 2 field goals and our defense gave up a TD w/ 1:44 left in the game (the safeties decided to run out the back of the endzone?). The first TD we gave up was caused by our obviously blind and clumsy SS who managed to block 2 of our LBs and allow the TE to get wide open 1st loss is always the toughest |

Chalk up another win for the Super Bears (10-0)...no, there has been no taping instances with this team either.
Tally Dawg hit a milestone this week: his first attempt at a 50+ yarder and he drilled it! He now has 60 PATs on the year (1st place in the Oceania A League) and 23 FGs (2nd place in the league -short of 1st by 1-). Up next are the 1-9 Buffalo Bisons. Tally Pup is enjoying the run as he is averaging about 3 punts per game at the most. It gets intersting when you have to adjust your training in an effort to gain back 30+ points in stamina for a place kicker because he is on the field so much. I love it! |
