Well, with the expansions taking place all over the non USA leagues, the Las Vegas Super Bears (soon to be renamed before game 1 this season to match Oceania nations) has been bumped up to AA#1. All of last season's Oceania A league has been moved to Oceania AA#1. Which allowed the two championship teams to actually leap from A to AAA and be one step away from pro. Must be nice.

Well, once we get the new name of the team, I'll pass it along. Until then, best of luck to everyone in Season 3: its going to be a wild one!

Games like this ruin the internet. They are a great marketing tool because it helps create spam. Each individual becomes a spammer to empower themselves... so capitalistic.

If we select a CB in the first round with our new GM, we just set ourselves back another 3 years.

How so? Please elaborate.

Well, season 3 officially kicked off last night for the Las Vegas Super Bears. It was an awsome night for the Tally "Toe" Brothers as each had outstanding games. Tally Dawg pulled off an amazing 5/6 FG and 4/4 PAT performance. 4 of the field goals all came in the 4th quarter including a 48 yard boot with 5 seconds left in the game. His kicks came from 19.5, 26, 32, 47, and 48 yards. his lone miss came on a shanked ball from 25.5 (first kick of the season: he was getting the off season rust out of the system Big Grin )

As for Tally Pup, his number was called twice this game, and he showed what a real punter can do: his first punt was for 41 yards from the opponent 48, although there was a 12 yard return which set up Jakarta at their own 19. But the second one was a beauty! A perfectly placed 43 yard coffin kick from the 45.5 yardline. There was no return on the play as it hit out at the 2 yard line.

How are your week 1 games going?

Las Vegas Super Bears 43 - Jakarta Typhoons 0
Its Rinse and Repeat for Las Vegas
Tallahassee, FL – Questions arose during the off season on whether or not the Las Vegas Super Bears would be as strong, if not stronger, than the team that made it to the playoffs two years in a row. An early departure from the playoffs last year had many people wondering if potential free agency would cost the team another shot at the playoffs. But, loyalty to the team, city, and fans won out and the team held together.

Despite the one-sided victory yesterday, the Las Vegas Super Bears (1-0) have some soul searching to do. In their 43-0 win over the Jakarta Typhoons (0-1), defense was the name of the game. The Super Bears held the Typhoons to under 100 yards offensively and hurried starting quarterback Lofa Hasselbeck 8 time while forcing him into throwing 3 interceptions. The Typhoons managed to cross midfield only 4 times all game, but were unable to convert as they were prevented from ever reaching even field goal range.

Offensively, the Super Bears put together several good series, but work is needed as they managed to score on short field situations (each drive starting close to mid field if not closer). The Super Bears offense seemed to fizzle out as they neared the red zone on drives in which they started at or near their own 20 yard line.

You can be sure that despite the victory the Super Bears will be practicing hard this week to get return to the form which everyone knows they are capable of.

Congrats on the win in your pro debut! Keep it up: word on the street is that there may be a world/champions league only for pro championship winners within the next few seasons!

Right now your LB is starting. Have you used all 3 boosts on your SS and how close is it to being a lvl 9

Trout are 4-0 in the Pros so far, with every player waiting until the end of the season to boost to max our XP. Oh yeah!

Also, I started GMing a team. It needs G,C,OT,WR,LB,DE,CB,DT. If anyone has a player 10-15 that needs playing time...let me know

Milk Bone (SS) is at 688/1000 atm.

As for the boosts, I'm not sure what you're referring to, as I'm still kind of a noob with this game. I created my characters right after the CPU teams were locked out for like 2 months. So, my characters sat idle and "worked out" for their first 3 levels, I think.

*EDIT*

Did some searching, and found it. Via using flex points. I've never used this option with either character. I only have 100 flex points, so I'll boost which ever one you want me to.

I've been keeping track of those slippery Trout's. You have a solid team on your hands. I have been lucky enough to have my cable provider show your games each week. This weeks matchup is going to be a tough one I think: facing off against the Sons of Doug Flutie (a very formidable opponent). Here's to hoping you pull off the W: I'll have my fish hat on for the game!

As for the Las Vegas Super Bears: we have rebounded nicely from the dreaded loss in the playoffs last season: maintaining a 4-0 record heading into tonight's game against the 4-0 Portland Rain. We are out for revenge, as they are the one's who knocked us out last year. All worries, of a drop in performance by some of the key starters after our game 1 performance have been dropped. We are once again working like a well oiled machine with that covetted end of season reward in our sight.

AllHeart, to boost one level you need as many flex points as it cost to make that position. For LB and SS it costs 200 flex per level, you can boost 3 levels per season.
