It looks like you are stacked at RB and WR (depending on how many you start), so why would you need White and Gaffney as a backup. Yea you can say bye week, but you got 16 other weeks. Bowe is going to be a good receiver, but I am sure the Chiefs are going to have to pull Steve DeBurg out of retirement to have a good QB. Croyle is not the answer, especially with that line.

I am a huge Lendale White fan and almost won my league because of him, I had some people hurt. But I think the WR you are getting is nowhere near what Johnson can do. It's not that your giving up too much, you just not getting anything better or anyone you can use.

Don't do it. Plus McNabb seems healthy so far this year.

Good team though.

you would have 3 #1's at the wr spot and a lil more depth at rb then just a rookie.

its all about the QB's in this one though, neither has a set WR corp that can go off but Mcnabb has def found it easier to get good numbers then matt.

i would but i would raid for a back up QB to mcnabb if you dont. JMHO. take care

win or lose, i love this team!!!!

I would do this in a heartbeat!

I like M Hasselbeck better then D McNab
I like D Bowe better then C Johnson
and I don't like having 2 TEs unless my bench is much bigger so getting L White for Scheffler is even a good deal!
Gaffney has no impact on the trade whatsoever as he is just one of many low end sleepers at WR.

It really comes down to McNabb and Calvin vs Hasselbeck and Bowe - I like hasselbeck and Bowe better Wink

Thanx for the sig ClevelandBigDawg!

I would be careful of Hasselbeck as his best reciever is now out till week 3 or 4. Might be a little risky right now. So the trade is questionable.

Here is a trade that I am working on right now.

My team as it stands.

QB - Romo
Favre
Shaub

RB - Barber
Brown (Ronnie)
Jones (Felix)
Forte

WR - Moss (Randy)
Harrison (Marvin)
Galloway
Stallworth

TE - Winslow

K - Rackers

Dst - Cowboys

I have a guy offering my Jamal Lewis and Chad Johnson in exchange for Ronnie Brown, Stallworth and Favre. Thoughts??

IMHO;
McNabb > Hasselbeck
Bowe = Calvin, Johnson may be a touch higher ut almost a wash

So you trade Scheffler for White/Gaffney.

I'd do it in a heartbeat....can't have enough starting RBs and who knows what Forte will do.

That's a tough one, For me personally Ilike McNabb over Hasslebeck, and I would Want to hang on to Johnson for at least a few weeks into the season, I think he'll have a big year

I have a trade and didn't want to start a new thread so here goes nothing.
My friend really wants Brian Westbrook who I have. He wants to trade me so I said ok I want AD. He counters with Jamal L and R Bush and I laugh in his face and say Peterson or no dice. He then offers me Jamal and the receiver of my choice. His best WRs are Roy Williams, Chad Johnson and L Coles. So I don't know what to do.

Should I stick to my guns and demand Peterson or take the other trade.

I would demand Peterson...Jamal is a great back, but now that he pulled his hamstring it could hamper him throughout the season, hopefully not, but you never know...also, my draft is at 10:45 thursday so do you want in or not?

Toronto Dawg, if your league awards points for receptions, even Peterson would not be enough for Westbrook. We don't know how the season will pan out but from preseason predictions and past performances, LT and Westbrook are leagues ahead of any other RB in PPR leagues.

If its a standard scoring league, demand AD.
If its a PPR league, AD and a low end No.2 WR seems fair to me.

no deal man

mcnabb and hasselbeck are in similar situations as far as not having any decent recievers but the eagles have a more established running game which should open up the pass. calvin johnson is a freak with a qb not afraid to go down field while bowe plays in a run-oriented offense with a qb who wasn't even good in college. i think scheffler is solid and can put up big numbers with cutler in denver. i wouldn't pull the trigger.
