So we have seen 3 preseason games thusfar, and we have a pretty good feel I think for what kind of talent this team has... or has not depending on your opinion. lthough tomorrows game will likely be scrubtacular with mostly 3rd stringers and backups playing, I may wait to post my own prediction to see how the first unit plays against Chicago tomorrow because I forgot we play them regular season. But this is the place for all Browns fans to post up their best guess.

This is the official predictions thread.

Time to lay it on the table, for the Grand Prize of bragging rights for the entire 2010 offseason.

Hopefully we can get this stickied or keep it going throughout the season. If not, for everyone who participates by the deadline, I will add their username and prediction in my signature to keep track of it.

For those of you who want all of the info on our schedule (time, day, etc), go here:

Browns Regular Season Schedule

Here are the few very simple rules, I will post a brief schedule below including week #, home or away, and opponent. Please copy and paste that and put a (W) or a (L) after the line, and a total win loss record at the bottom. Winner will be determined by their total record prediction, tie breaker will be accuracy of game to game prediction...i.e. if multiple people guess 6-10 and that is the Browns record, whoever has the most correct guesses of who we actually beat, will win.

Finally, please post final predictions before 9/12/09 @11:59pm, and refrain from editing them. If you absolutely have to edit, do not do it after the above date and time.

Let's see what you got!!!

On the face of things, I don't really think that we have an 8-8 team. Especially on defense. But if our O can hold the ball and score some points, there are 8 winnable games on the schedule. Things have to go right... but I guess it's possible.

*I am soo hoping that it fares better than I predict.
I think the beginning of the season will be very rough, but the last 8 games we'll get on track and start to shuck out some wins!

14 & 2!?! i would anti-age about ten years if that were to come true!!! That makes me happy just thinking about it (perhaps fantasizing about it would be more aptly put).

I'm sorry, could you expand upon this? If I pick a 6-10 record and another fan picks 6-10, then we both have 6 correct guesses. How does that tie break?

I just want to make sure I'm playing right.

Its cool i know you got it now I saw your next post, but just incase other people have this same question I will expand.

Lets just say that with 6 wins, the Browns beat pittsburgh twice, baltimore twice, and cincinatti twice. And two people on here picked 6 wins as well.

Dawg #1 picked Browns to beat:
Pitt
Cinci
Detroit
jags
ravens x2

Dawg #2 picked Browns to beat:
Cinci
Oakland
Chiefs
Ravens
Detroit
Packers

Dawg #1 was correct on 4 of his pics
Dawg #2 was correct on 2 of his pics

Dawg #1 is the winner. Dawg #2 is runner up, but still the man because he picked 6-10

Wow, I just went through this and this is honestly what I can see happen. I am pretty realistic in looking at this, and a lot of these will be close. But best case senario is this.
