Hey,

My brother and I have tickets in "The Pound" for the Pittsburgh game. Will be arriving in Cleveland Saturday and need a good place downtown to watch the Buckeyes game...any suggestions?

Thanks

Its some place where a baseball team plays, they wear Indians uniforms but they sure aint the Tribe. I think maybe some kinda minor league team associated with the Detroit Tigers, yeah The Toldeo Mud Hens thats right they just used the Indians uniforms that were left in the Old Jacobs Field lockerooms.

noooooooooooooooo!

I didn't realize that these two games coincided!

There's no way the Browns beat the Steelers and the Buckeyes beat USC in the same week. It is literally impossible.

Now I have to either root for USC or spend my Sunday watching the Browns implode...not cool

Not to worry Don Quixote, OSU traditionally has problems with coming to Southern California and playing USC. If history holds true, then your Sunday may not be too bad.

Being a fan of OSU football and living in S. Cal its tough to hear these USC hommers these last 5 years pounding there chest.

it maybe different this time. this is not the ROSE BOWL, where teams have time to go there, have some party time and take in some sun and all.

Tressel & the Boys will not arrive there til friday night, thus no time to go out. it should be strickly a business trip for the Buckeyes!

i think it will be a defensive struggle. USC has most of its defense back, but they have some new starters on offense. They are going to want the Buckeyes to make the mistakes on offense so that they have a short field to play on. The Buckeyes defense needs to play the same way.

OSU TE's will be the key i think. USC will be 7 or 8 man in the box for most of the time and outside of Robiske, our WR's are not ones that compare to most WR's out there from the PAC 10. If the coaching staff/ Boeckman can get our TE's, FB's or Saine involved for some of the game, it will keep at least a safety and a LB back and make them 5 or 6 man fronts.

i'd be suprised if it doesn't come down to a winning FG attempt in the last minute kinda game.

I hope you're right. I feel like the OSU defense owes us a good performance in a big game. The last two NC games, the defense has looked slow and overmatched, to be brutally honest. USC has a great stable of backs, and I think the defense's ability to stop the run is going to be key to this game.

I feel better about the offense. I agree with your assessment, I think USC will be stacking the box to stop the run. Beanie is a legit threat to break off a big run every time he touches the ball, so the defense will be keying on him. If I was game planning against OSU, I would want to put Boeckman in obvious passing downs and disrupt him with pressure. I think the Illinois game and the LSU game demonstrated that Boeckman can be rattled under blitz pressure. He doesn't have the ability to escape that Smith, and even to a lesser extent Krentzel demonstrated. Let's hope that Boeckman has learned to eat the ball or throw it away, instead of trying to force an ill-advised pass.

When will the people around here realize that he "OSU first/Browns second" mentality is hurting the Browns? Our BEST PLAYER was talking about leaving because of the hatred of where he went to college. Grow up everyone, he is a BROWN - support him.

Maybe they will stop, when you stop spamming the same thing in every OSU thread.

Its gonna make me start to hate Braylon Smiler

Also, last I checked Braylon is a grown man that makes millions, so cry me a river if some people have given him a hard time.

USC has a lot of talented players but I seriously doubt they are prepared for a physical running back like Wells (assuming he plays) with a strong offensive line. I really think you try to run the ball, beat them up and keep them off their game.

USC crushed Virginia in an away game. that is not good new for the Buckeyes!

The Buckeyes will probably rest Beanie this week, but I think Terrell Pryor will be somewhat of a factor now going into the USC game, to take some of the pressure off of Boeckman and whomever the tailback would be if Beanie cant go.

How many freaking places are you going to post this drivel?

And why in God's name would you put Braylon Edwards above the team?

Dumb question, huh?
