I hope he becomes the Raves starter too. I also hope he's worse than Kyle Boller and throws 40 interceptions and 0 TDs. Troy Smith is a loser -- he plays for the Ravens. Every player on the Ravens is a loser.

The bottom 5 teams in rushing attempts (the Browns being one of them) are a combined 1-14. How about trying to run the ball?

Thats funny, then tell me why I don't see your name on their roster?

First off all, I have the privy of knowing Troy, We grew up in the same streets of Glenville. Calling him a loser offends me something proper. Your faulting him because he wound up in Baltimore? Some of you people make me sick. Like he had control over that. Don't get me wrong, Your more than welcome to have your opinion on Troy, Like or dislike (as a player) him who cares! But what you don't have is the right to call him a loser.

Good Luck Troy, ~Tarblooder for Life~

I hope he does well 14 games a year, and does just enough to lose to the Browns twice a year, or three times if we meet in the post season.

I think he is going to have a rough go of it though, that teams offense does not look good this year especially if McGahee is out like I think he is.

I'll never forget what Troy Smith did for my Buckeyes and that'll always be a part of me. Those of you who call me a homer probably never witnessed the magic that happened in the 'Shoe every home game while he played. I did! I was a student and had season tix every year. You may have seen it on tv, but it certainly was something special to see it in person.

I hate the Ravens as much as the next Browns fan, but I'll never hate Troy Smith. I wish him well except when he's playing the Browns.

The only harder thing for me is watching Holmes in a Steelers uni as he was my favorite buckeye during his tenure. Man I hate seeing him in Gold and Black, if someone whould have told me four years ago I would be cheering Braylon and having to root against Santonio, I would have called them insane.

I do have the right to call him a loser. As long as he's on the Ravens I consider him a loser. If he changes teams he'll no longer be a loser. I hate the Ravens. What's sick is people wishing him luck as a Raven. Wh would you root for the Ravens to go all the way to a Super Bowl? Root for the team, not the name on the jersey.

Don't care...Not a Ohio State fan. I did root for them against the Gators though. I'm a Seminole fan. I don't think he's a loser but I want him to do horrible cause he's on a Rival.

I hate the Ravens just as much as the next guy, but Troy Smith isn't a loser. He got drafted by Baltimore, it isn't like he chose to play there. As a matter of fact, before the draft he said he hoped the Browns would take him, one of Clevelands own is in the NFL, and everyone who is from Cleveland, or an Ohio State fan should support him...except when he plays the Browns... Wink

Ohio State is 2 hours south of Cleveland, Pittsburgh is 2 hours East of Cleveland. Ohio state has absolutely NOTHING to do with Cleveland or the Browns. Any player who plays on the Ravens is a bum. I hate the Ravens with evry bit of my soul. their players all suck and are losers. Do I wish harm on him? NO. Am I going to give him respect because he played college football for some team I could care less about? NO. I'm a BGSU fan, I certainly didn't root for Omar Jacobs to take over the starting job on Pittsburgh and want them to go 14-2 with their only 2 losses to us. What that tells me is that you guys care more about the name on the jersey than the team. So become a Ravens fan, that's fine with me. The only way I'd ever root for the Ravens are if their win would put the Browns in the playoffs - other than that I hope they get shut out 500000-0 in every game and I hope their QBs throw 30 ints per game.

Troy Smith was a groomsman in my niece's wedding. In fact he walked my wife and myself down the aisle to our seats. He was an all-around great guy. But Soup's right, he's a raven. And because he's a raven, he's the enemy now. Respect what he did as a Buckeye, but that's history. If he should ever come to play for the Browns, then he can be in our good graces. But until then, I agree with Soup. Just not with the "loser" part.

Troy's a big boy now... making all that money playing in the NFL. Last thing he needs from me is to wish him luck! Especially as a Raven! Its just the reality of sports and fanhood! Go Bucks, Go Browns!

^ Yes and thats all fine and dandy, But I would suggest that wake up and understand that its just a game and calling people losers just because they are a team that you hate sooooo much is plan stupid. I too cant stand the ravens, but my hate is still towards modell not the city or the players.

GO BROWNS!

Ummm...Cleveland is in Ohio, Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvannia. I can see why people living in Cleveland, Ohio root for Ohio State.
