'Terrelle Cryer' whiteout T-shirts all the rage at Penn State
By DUSTIN HOCKENSMITH, The Patriot-News
November 03, 2009, 8:24PM

Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor was the inspiration for Penn State's whiteout T-shirt this weekend. The Penn State Daily Collegian photoThe Penn State Marketing Association has offered a nice way for PSU students to welcome back Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor to the state of Pennsylvania. The organization has begun selling "Terrelle Cryer" T-shirts for this weekend's whiteout at Beaver Stadium, a design that features the Nittany Lion mascot consoling Pryor with a box of tissues.

The shirt costs just $10 and is already drawing publicity across the state. The design was by sophomore student Jinder Bhogal, according to student newspaper The Daily Collegian.

"After we beat Ohio State last year, you couldn't walk through a dorm without seeing the picture of Terrelle Pryor with his head in his hands," PSMA president Dan Sturman told the Collegian. "That vivid image is still on everyone's mind."

Well .... once again it's the PA vs. Ohio Quarterback showdown.

Should be a good game.

yep, should be a good one.
The winner remains in contention for the Big Ten championship/Rose Bowl berth.

I do think Iowa will eventually stumble.

The Buckeyes will have to play their best game of the year to beat Penn State.

We really dont know how good these 2 teams are, really. OSU has won 7 games, but they really haven't played a complete game yet and i am not sure they are good enough to even win these 3 games out. I will not be suprised if they lose 2 out of 3.

but anyways, hope they prove me wrong.
Go Bucks

sigh. Here we go again. If OSU beats penn state and iowa does that guarantee a buckeyes trip to the rose bowl? if so does that mean OSU gets a second shot at USC?

forgive my pessimism but our track record over the last 3 years in BCS games isnt exactly something to be proud of..especially our last 2 games against the trojans. Another national embarrassment awaits.

Since then, I hope every single Penn State fan/player/supporter has a life full of Epic Fail, especially the fans in this video lol. Penn State even lost this game to OSU lol.

wow did that video make me mad. I really hate them too, mainly because i despise the entire redneck state of pennslyvania. Also because they have the single worst jerseys in any sport and those huge schutt helmets they wear makes it look like they have a giant bulb of garlic on their head. Also the fact that they call them "linebacker U" even though schools like USC and Miami have had just as many, if not more great linebackers who were successful in the NFL.

As for linebacker U. OSU has put more LB's in the NFL then PS.
As for the game, It's going to come down to T Pryor and the OL. If they play like they have of late, we will not win this game. The Def. can not play the whole game like they have been.
If Pryor is struggling in the 2nd quarter Trussell better put him on the bench or WR. We can't give away a decent season waiting for Pryor to become something he may never turn into. A QB.
Forever Browns, I don't think USC would be a blow out. They got lucky when they beat us this year. If Trussell would have challenged the 1st TD, I think it would have been overturned. The annoucers even said it looked like the runners knee was down before he crossed the goal line. But never showed it again. And that was on 4th down. And I really don't see USC making it to the Rose Bowl. They are 2 games behind Oregon and Oregon has the tie breaker. I think USC is way over rated this year.

Penn State fans were throwing beer bottles and a bunch of other crap at OSU fans after the Buckeye's beat them in Happy Valley, chanting "**** Ohio" and a lot of name calling. The OSU fans were just walking to the parking lot to leave when the PSU fans were doing this.

Actually that’s the back of a frat house on the opposite side of campus from the stadium. I don’t know why anyone would want to be there let alone a fan of the opposing team. I would suspect frat boys everywhere are childish punks.

yeah that was very childish, but walking thru the back alley of a frat house in PA after beating them you're basically asking for it. It wasn't that long ago when you had better not get caught wearing a stooler jersey to Cleveland Municipal Stadium as I've witnessed 4 different guys thrown into those nasty troughs in the bathrooms. Now its almost embarassing to wear a browns jersey!

I to hate Penn State but, i'm a Buckeye fan so i hate all Big10 teams. I actually use to like Penn State until they joined the Big10 but, Paterno bothers me anymore he's about 10 years past retirement and it seems like he's there now more for recruiting nowadays. To me when i watch them it seems like the assistants are coaching more than he does. I'm sure it will just be a coincidence that he retires the same year Bowden does and nothing to do with the wins record. Roll Eyes I'm sure the Penn State fans will say how classy and well respected he is but, i'm not questioning his class i'm just saying i think he's sticking around for more than trying to win another national title.
I hope OSU smokes them but, i'm sure they won't whoever wins i'm sure it will be close just like last years game. I think it will be low scoring that's why i'm worried about Petrey being hurt even though he was struggling lately his backup didn't look to good last week. Hopefully that doesn't cost OSU. I'm going Bucks 20-17 defense gets a TD and bails Pryor out like most of the year.

Easy on the Keystone State, buddy. I am diehard for the Browns and have lived in PA since the Kosar days. My dad is from this area and became a full Browns convert in the Sipe days (he grew up rooting Dallas). He also went to Penn State and raised this football fan.

I don't hate Ohio State at all. I always wish them the best in every other matchup but this one. See, the thing is, mom went to OSU. I was born at OSU Hospital in Columbus. I hate Michigan worse than any other college team. Had we not had to leave NE Ohio in the late 80s, I might root OSU. As it is, I root for them to be the best 1 loss team every year with that loss being at PSU.

Should be a good game.

LOL really. Good to see the money of the parents of Penn State students isn't going to waste. It probably took them all summer to come up with that.

This is a true fan! A level headed, in perspective point of view. It's a GAME, certainly not something to actually chuck beer cans (with beer still in them no less!) at someone over! Here's to a good game!
Go Bucks!

My two cents...

we dont even know the situation, perhaps a friend of his, a PSU fan, called him to say whats up before the game? anywho, this was mob mentality at its best, and I cant say this never happened to a UM fan in Columbus.

remeber when PSU fans threw bottles full of urine on the OSU marching band?

http://www.dispatch.com/live/c.../20061022-A1-00.html

""During one embarrassing scene, Penn State fans pelted the Ohio State marching band with urine-filled bottles during the 8 p.m. game last year.

Penn State President Graham Spanier issued a public apology.""

also, the Pryor t shirts have been recalled

The fact that you criticize uniforms is the reason PSU won last year and probably the reason why Terrelle Crier is considered a QB. Start paying attention to the games and the awfulness that is your QB and worry less about uniforms.

LOL. Nothing funnier than a bunch of State Penn fans thumping their chest about drubbing inferior competition year after year. What happened when State Penn played the one decent team on their schedule this year? Oh yeah, they got drilled at home. Expect more of the same tonight!

I was wondering when the Bucks were going to pull away from PSU before that Posey TD. I was yelling at the tv that a Td when it was 10-7 would put the game away and i was yelling that PSU's secondary isn't going to cover Sanzenbacher and Posey.
I'm sure the Penn State fans won't say anything about the outcome though. The better team won. 2 more wins and another Big10 title for the Bucks.

Awww poor State Penn fans. Running their mouths and thumping their chests about drubbing inferior competition and look what happens. You think they would have learned their lesson over the past 20 years but I guess not.

Hate to say I told you so but....ah well..no I don't. I DID tell you so. State Penn plays a pathetic and embarrassing schedule all year long, and it showed last night. And honestly, it could have been a lot worse than 24-7. Game was not even THAT close.

Perhaps State Penn should consider scheduling some decent out of conference teams, instead of opting for 4 in-season scrimmages every year. Clearly, the more battle tested team won last night, and again, it showed.

And actually, it's only one more win. If we beat Iowa next week we are the Big 10 Champions and can pack our bags for Pasadena!! Regardless of what we do against Michigan, although Wisconsin will beat them next week and I will thoroughly enjoy seeing the Buckeyes keep them from even a bowl game for the 2nd straight year!

If they say that, they didn't watch the game. OSU won every trench battle--CONVINCINGLY! I have wished for years that PSU would stop scheduling cupcakes, but what can you do?

BTW, I'm rooting for OSU over Iowa. I only root against them for the PSU game and otherwise wish them well.
