I seen Brandon got suspended for a 1/2 a game for reaching in the face mask of a down running back. What a joke. He should have got at least a couple of games. Urban must be worried about Vanderbilt. That he couldn't even give him a full game. What he did was worse then what the kid from Oregon did. And he got a year suspension. And then the SEC said the suspension was enough.
I hope that the NCAA steps in and gives him more. I think he was in some trouble last season too.
When I was watching the game, he was all over the field. I thought this is someone I would love to see in Cleveland. But after that I'm not sure. I can see him in more trouble once he gets his pockets full of money.
It's sad that Florida,Urban and the SEC think a slap on the hand is enough punishment for what he did. Maybe if they made him set a couple of games he would learn something from it. But with a slap on the hand he will probly not learn anything from it.

that play has not gotten the media replay over and over again for whatever reason. when the buckeye tried to choke a player, media attention was fierce. florida/sec have a pass from the media i guess. jmho

I like the way he plays, except for the dirty part. With all the cameras the NFL uses, he would be suspended for more them a 1/2 a game. He would get at least 4 games in the NFL. Thats just what we need. Or stupid penalties, like Edwards kept getting for use.
if he can't control himself now, wait till he gets a pocket full of money. Goodell will pack man him right out of the league.
As for OSU, they had a player chock a player a few years ago and he got a 3 or 4 game suspension and the media was crying that it should have been for the year. But now that its Florida a 1/2 game is enough.
And as for his helmet coming off. The second time it was a hit that knocked his helmet off. And he still tried to get in on the play and took a shot to the head. His helmet came off a few times during the game. Maybe if he didn't have so much hair his helmet would fit. I don't have a problem with his hair. But he needs to do something to keep his helmet on. I would love to see him in Cleveland, but not if he's going to stupid things.
It one thing to be aggressive and nasty, but it's another thing to be dirty and stupid. The Referee was right there and had to see it, but no flag, what else is new. When he gets in the NFL he will not have them same homer ref's. And if it was Teebow that was down and someone did that to him, I'm sure the SEC would have made it more them a 1/2 a game. Probably 4 games, And you would be on here crying like a B***h.
As for the Big Ten. They aren't doing that bad. Iowa is ranked 4th, and they haven't had the ref's. give them a win. And Penn State could play with anyone this year. OSU defense could play with anyone if the offense wouldn't make them play the whole game. Yes our offense is terrible, thanks to having a young OL and a terrible QB. If TP gets it together watch out for the bucks in a couple of years. And we will not have to get the ref's suspended for our wins.
So watch out for the big Ten this year, Because if Iowa can beat OSU. And our Gators get knocked off by Bama. You will be watching Iowa play Bama for the Championship. So you might want to root for OSU in a couple of weeks. And the Gators might lose some points with the weak teams they have left to play. Only one team with a winning record. So they better beat Bama.

Well, my buddy who goes to Indiana might disagree with you....the bad calls werent at the end and Iowa scored like 21 or 28 unanswered but Indiana lost momentum when the receiver was called out of bounds

Well...Penn State can play with any one...except Iowa Wink

Honestly though....I thought that your argument was actually really good...I originally thought that you were an OSU homer like alot of people on this board who were oblivious that football gets played south of the Olentangy...but after reading it..even as a Gator fan I could still see where you are coming from on Spikes...well done

When taken in the context of "hey Spikes just poked that guy in the eye"it looks bad, poor sporsmanship..e.t.c...

As a guy who played some ball in my youth,I can tell you eye poking and a lot worse things happen in the pile.

Do I condone this act?NO... but it happens. If you want to single this guy out, make him out to be "The Bad Guy",go right ahead, just know there are plent of guys who do the same thing...just didnt get caught...yet

So true....that is why im kinda like "hey..it happens let them play"

btw Tebow got taken out well after the play and there was no penalty...i can tell you that as a Gator fan...the Georgia game is always full of hatred and it gets ugly quickly so Im convinced that he was provoked...but you are right..we shouldnt condone that either
