I was just watching ESPN's First Take and they were talking about this soccer game where one girl from New Mexico was consistantly assaulting the girls from BYU and no fouls were called. I mean this girl was physically hurting girls from BYU. Watch this video, I have never wanted to hit a girl more than after watching this. That girl needs the "crap" beat out of her.

I can't believe a BYU girl didn't see all this and beat the *&*& outta her. Soccer can be rough, but that's just beyond dirty play.

I am missing something here. I only thought one play was overboard and that was the punch to the face in the air toward the end.
The first incident the girl she was covering just elbowed her in the gut so she punched her in the back. The second she is fighting for the ball. The opponent had fallen and was on the ball she was trying to kick it. As the girl got up she got up between her and the ball and Lambert fought her way through it. If it was two guys no one would say a thing about it. Next was a dangerous play but done all the time. If you get the ball first it is legal. She tried to steal the ball from behind which tripped the other girl up. Actually she got the ball first so I do not even think it was a penelty. The next play a girl cuts her legs out from under her and she falls backwards and lands on the girl. After that a girl grabs her by the shorts and she throws the girl down by pulling her hair. That was rough so I would say one dirty play there. Then she tries for a ball and misses tripping up the other player...her team mate then tries to clear the ball (completing an ongoing play) which hit the tripped up girl in the face. Neither was intentional. It is a penelty but is no more dirty than a blocking foul in the NBA. You try to make a play...miss...and cause a penelty because you missed. Then come the punch in the face which is dirty. So two dirty plays in the whole clip and only one was completely dirty as the hair pulling thing was in retaliation. As a guy that grew up playing hockey I might have a different view of things though. |

Some of it was just good hard play. She may have been getting frustrated and going after the ball so hard she missed, I know that's happened to me before. But the elbowing, she could've just elbowed her back next time they were that close. She threw a freaking punch right into her back. The slapping in the face in mid air she tried to make look like an accident, but you could tell that's what she was trying to do. Yanking a girl down by the hair in retaliation for getting held by the jersey a little? You're never gonna get far in soccer if you can't handle a little jersey pulling. Just fight through it and if a ref looks its obvious. so 3 completely intentional very dirty plays, and a couple that may have just been going after the ball. But of course he motives on those are gonna be questioned too when she has 3 of the dirtiest plays I've seen. In the SAME GAME. ------------------------------ We are NOT better without K2! I saw that video yesterday.
Almost all of the plays in that video are worthy of a red card. |

The only one I would say was ok is the one where she tripped over the girl. The slapping to the face, the ball to the face, the punch to the back, the hair pull, and all the other things that happened were suspension worthy IMO... |

The ball to the face was not her...it was her team mate. She caused the girl to trip abd her team mate went to clear the ball which hit her in the face.
I think the hair pulling thing was a flop  |

Granted it was wrong what she did on the soccer field so...
Maybe we should bring her in for a tryout to be our strong safety? Offical Driver of the Draft Toby Gerhart Bandwagon...good seats still available. |
