Have any plans been made yet for a Luncheon @ Browns Training Camp for the Worldwide Browns Backers Presidents? I am President of the Alamo Area Browns Backers Chapter in San Antonio, and I would like to start planning to make that trip up there. All I am looking for is the date if it is planned at this point.

Last year it was the weekend before the first preseason game. The made it a Browns Backers Weekend that concluded with family night at the Stadium on Sunday.
In my opinion, I say it would be August 1st or 8th.
I attended training camp as a VIP w/ my Visa Extra Points. I had submitted my app for a club prior to the training camp which was the end of July. While at training camp and Family night I inquired about my app and was pleasantly suprised to find out it was axcepted. So if there is a get together for Presidents I am so there.
The plans for Browns Backers Weekend are still in the works. We will have one and I will be sure to let everyone know when it is scheduled.
Out of curiousity, I would like to take vote. Would you rather have BBW Weekend around Family Day on August 9, or during one of the preseason game weekends (Aug. 22 or Aug. 29)?
The weekend of Family Day would seem to be logical - attend camp, attend Family Day, no ticket concerns, begin it all on a very positive note! Besides I have already had to commit to those dates to support Family Day as it was the only thing really scheduled already! I've got 1500 miles to travel with family and can't do it on a moment's notice. Which reminds me, Family Day is in less than a month, and I still have not seen anything on how to get tickets. I also plan on attending the HOF game in Canton after Family Day on August 9th which should make that a great day! Having the President's Luncheon at Camp on August 8th would be tremendous!

Dates for Browns Backers Weekend 2009 have been announced!! Save the date, Aug. 7-9.
The Presidents Luncheon will be on Friday, Aug. 7, Aug. 8 your club can enjoy a free stadium tour, and Aug. 9 is Family Day and the Best Backer Auto Show!!
This is just a rough itinerary, more details will follow!!
By now you should have received an email invitation regarding the President's Luncheon, and another email with information on free stadium tours on Aug. 8.
