SIGNATURES, AVATARS and IMAGES
SIGNATURES -- Signatures are allowed but must not display as more than two lines of text. Users of text signatures are encouraged to begin their sig with a dashed-line, single-spaced above the actual sig to aid in separating it from the text of their post. The dashed line will not count as a text line. Two lines of text may follow. Signatures may not contain smack, vulgarity, profanity or other member’s user names. SIG IMAGES -- Images are permitted in signatures but are limited in both measurable size and file size. The size limit for a sig image is 600 pixels (wide) x 125 pixels (tall). The file size limit is 50k. If either of these size restrictions are exceeded the sig image may be removed by the moderators. Sig images may not be of the nature of smack, vulgarity or sexual innuendo. Signatures deemed to be inappropriate or excessively sized will be removed at the moderator’s discretion. If a user persistently uses excessively sized or inappropriate images or inappropriate text in a signature, a suspension will be issued to that user AVATARS -- Avatars are permitted but are limited in both measurable size and file size. The default measurable size limit for an avatar is 100 x 100. The file size limit is 25k. If either of these size restrictions are exceeded the avatar may be removed by the moderators. Avatars may not be of the nature of smack, vulgarity or sexual innuendo. Avatars deemed to be inappropriate or excessively sized will be removed at the moderator’s discretion. If a user persistently uses excessively sized or inappropriate images, a suspension will be issued to that user. IMAGES -- Images within posts are permitted but are limited in both measurable size and file size. The measurable size limit is 300 X 300 pixels. The file size limit is 75k. Images may not be of the nature of smack, vulgarity or sexual innuendo. Images posted by one poster may not be reposted in replies on the same page within a thread. Images deemed to be inappropriate or excessively sized will be removed at the moderator’s discretion. If a user persistently uses excessively sized or inappropriate images a suspension will be issued to that user. Animated images are not permitted on the board. HOW TO ADD AN AVATAR At the top of the forum page click "GO". Then from the dropdown menu hover over "Personal Zone". From the next dropdown list click "Personal Profile" The page will change to your Personal Profile. In the upper right corner of that page click, "View/Edit Complete Profile". The page will change again. Scroll down until you see "Avatar / Picture URL:" to the right of that is an orange link that says "Edit", (it is directly above the signature text box), click Edit. Yet another box will pop up. In that box is a group of avatars from which you can choose yours. Click the one of your choice and to the right of the avatars click, "Select This One". The avatar you selected will show above the "Select This One" button. Once it does click "Close" at the upper right corner of the avatar box. Your new avatar should now show up in your Personal Profile page right beside the "Edit" link you click before. That's it. If you would like a Custom Avatar you can have that instead. While in the avatar box click the "Custom Avatar" link above the group of avatars. In that you can place the URL to where your custom avatar is located. Then click "Update Avatar". The avatar box will close by itself. Whichever method you choose your new avatar should now show on the message board. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Referee, |
